Yeah! almost one comic a week for a while now - Fucking bankable!
Lately the news has brought up a lot issues about Semitism, Anti-Semitism etc, but the problem I see is a much broader one -
Anti-Semantism
One day a bunch of guys got together and said "You know what - we all look kinda similar, lets form a club". Well it wasn't one bunch of guys, it was a whole bunch of different guys all across the world. Short nose clubs, Long eyelash clubs, Curly hair clubs - They all decided their god was better than everyone elses, and that they were the chosen ones because they were the meekest. They've been out meeking each other ever since. Sometimes people say to people in the long eyelash club "You've got some long eyelashes there buddy" and the long eyelash club says "WHAT! you can't judge me based on my eyelash length". Subsequent requests for short eyelashers to join the L.E.C. were denied.

well like any dogmatic traditions there aren’t any uniform views on this. Some accept your conversion while other groups refuse to recognise that conversion as legitimate.
You using the term “jew-hating” makes me wonder if you fully read the comic. “Jew” was as poorly defined in the 18th century as it is today. Wilhelm Maar fell for the same nonsense semantic word salad that many self identifying “jewish people” (of their varying races and religions) have.
So the question obviously remains: “what’s a jew?”
I know people persecuted as “jews” who are atheists, and people not persecuted by racial hatred who consider themselves “jewish”, and others persecuted as “semites” who are neither “jewish” by race nor religion, and there are even zionists who aren’t racially or religiously “jewish” nor are they even considered “semites”!
I guess the lesson to be learned from this comic (if there is one) is that the whole notion of “jewish” identity is CRAZY and doesn’t make any logical sense whatsoever. I can’t tell what a “jew” is supposed to look like any more than I can decide that tom hanks is supposed to belong to a race of round-nosed-dimplefaces (why isn’t that recognised as a race?) My guess is that groups of people have been united by the fact that they were together persecuted over the years, and this has carried on in spite of the fact that it doesn’t make any sense and flies in the face of basic fundamental semantic logic.
I’m interested to know your take on it.
