I had the pleasure of judging the region's
Schools Multimedia Awards this week, and I think it's safe to say that I should start learning a trade. Some of these kids are
GOOD, and I don't mean good as in
"oh now isn't that clever, good boy"... I mean
"good luck keeping your job old man" type good... I'll try and feature the winner here after the awards night.
Also that weekend was the
Queensland Media Awards, where I was pleased and surprised to win
"Best Editing Technique", and
"Best Special Effects", but no number of awards, or free drinks has consoled me after seeing the intimidating work of the students.
