Australia Day, AKA Survival Day, AKA Invasion Day just passed this weekend. It was the day the First Fleet landed on these shores, so it's politically necessary to mention all three names. They could have picked a different day, if not for the unity of the country, then just so we could simply call it Australia Day together without being confused by all the different names for the questionable circumstances of that colonisation/invasion. Hey you over there!On the subject of nationalism allow me for a moment to stand upon my soap box: We are all brothers and sisters. We should be nicer to each other.
